“We stayed in this hotel for one night and was glad it wasn’t more. The rooms on first inspection aren’t exactly what you expect. It’s probably what the hotel looked like A decade or 2 ago. But it’s acceptable for the price. The main concern was the burn marks around the plugs and luckily our electronics were fully charged. In first inspection the room room looked clean enough, but when we got a little more settled I started noticing bits which weren’t right, stains on one of our towels, a slight tea stain look on the bed and a mirror which hadn’t been cleaned for some time. The stay was made worse by the extremely noisy family next door. However the staff were brilliant when I went down at 11pm to ask the room next door if they could be a little quieter. They rang straight away and apologised to me for the noise and being unable to sleep. Other than that the room was lovely and quiet and we couldn’t hear any of the traffic noise outside! It was a massive positive to the room. ”
