“Having not visited Eilat in over 17 years, we were looking for a place to unwind and rejuvenate a bit and the Herod's Vitalis delivered in a big way. Staff was far above average in every department encountered - reception, housekeeping, dining rooms, lounges, spa, security/parking. They were responsive, engaging, proactive, HOSPITABLE (which these days is NOT a given). They clearly take pride in their work and the experience they aim to provide to their guests. The hotel is physically a bit tired in some public areas, but the room we had was terrific (Rain suite I believe it's called). A throwback to vintage hotel - shoehorns, laundry bags, and sewing kits - along with all the modern additions (high quality in-room cappucino/tea, smart TV, good WIFI (posting from the room now). Jacuzzi in the spa was a dream. Saunas (wet and dry) actually worked the way they are meant to. Fantastic massage therapists too.”
