“Very old fashioned hotel, unfortunately it lacks some TLC. Our room was very outdated, dust covered the pipes that were on view around the sink in the bathroom, frame around the bath was broken, cracks visible, furniture was extremely outdated. We did get a good night's sleep as bed are comfortable, was surprised at how close to the main road we were but traffic didn't bother us which I was very glad about. Net or a blind on the windows would be great especially with a carpark outside and a main road, just to give a bit of privacy feeling to the room especially with young kids. The breakfast room is like something from an old Stena Line ship, awful brown and red colours throughout, breakfast was nice, missing little things like only white sliced bread available to toast, no brown or soda bread or small rolls available, I noticed a food menu the night before for dinner that stated soup available with a roll and soda bread, these would be a nice touch at breakfast, no breakfast menu so didn't realise that pancakes are available until a staff member asked if our kids would like some. The staff are really lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately we wouldn't return as personally it's not for us”
