“LOCATION: With countless restaurants, cafes and bars just a short walk away, as well as a restaurant attached to the hotel, you are in the perfect location to wonder around and explore without hassle. It's also a very short, and cheap ride away from the centre of town, which has a very nice vibe and really comes alive at night. Furthermore, there are several laundry options just a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel, as well as stores selling clothes, accessories and souvenirs. ROOM: As a solo traveller, the room his the sweet spot in terms of size and amenities, as well as being clean and tidy. This hotel is definitely suited more towards single travellers or couples, and if that's how you're travelling the rooms will be cosy, comfortable and just right! FACILITIES: The swimming pool is a great touch, especially after a day of exploring nearby sites or the town itself in typical Indonesian heat and humidity. The restaurant has indoor seating, as well as outdoor seating on the balcony. STAFF: All very friendly and well suited to the laid back, chill and relaxing energy of the hotel. I ran out of soap in my shower and the staff were very responsive when informed them, with a friendly housekeeper arriving at my room shortly after to provide me more. I didn't leave the hotel until about two hours after my check out, but the staff were happy and willing to store my backpack aside while I went out and enjoyed my remaining hours in the town before departing. OVERALL: It is a hotel offering a colourful, bohemian and even a retro vibe, with great staff and in a prime location. The room managed to be a perfect size, especially for myself as a solo traveller, having everything I need without it feeling like too much. I would love to stay here again next time I visit Yogyakarta. Thank you Adhisthana team 🙏”
