“The staff were nice and polite We asked multiple times for the bathroom door to be cleaned: the previous occupants had thrown a brown liquid all over the door: the whole door was splattered and we needed to use a towel to open it. Despite multiple requests on arrival and our second day, the spray remained on the door. (If you can’t get rid of the mark, replace the door). Also. It was not advertised anywhere prior to booking that only beer and soft drink was available - no cocktails or wines. PLUS they had run out of most of the soft drinks and juices regardless. For a hotel recently opened, there’s a lot that still needs doing. There was black mould in two corners on level 3, and the bathroom shower was not sealed correctly so there was water going everywhere but down the drain. This place has so much potential; it’s in a beautiful area with good views - but it felt like we were staying in a development site forced to be open too early. I’ve paid less and received better quality stays at hostels.”
