“So many things to say about this amazing place! We travel regularly- every 6/8 weeks - and this location ranks in the top 5 places we have stayed in the region as well as globally. Food - hands down the best we have ever had at a resort, including private charter liveaboards. Staff - just exceptional. Knew how to do their job while having fun, being simply delightful. They went well above and beyond in every interaction. Everything was easy and enjoyable. Mission & Community - I really valued that local teens tagged along on dives to learn and train. Such a fun and unique experience. The music night with folks from the village was also a lovely experience. Lodging - we have stayed in many villas in many places and this one was both well designed, exceptionally clean, and functional. That’s a rarity. Cost - from excursions to diving, private trips, drinks, the costs are well worth the experience. Location - Bunaken was spectacular, but also the wider region. We really enjoyed having access to the reefs but also the beach, Tangkoko and the highland region. The house reef is also spectacular (especially compared to those in many other areas). Kids - admittedly not much going on for kids but that is part of the draw. Our daughter had such a lovely time in the pool, at the house reef, exploring the beach and just running about. Overall, really one of the best in our experience. The only slightly negative thing to mention are the restrictions to swimming off the beach given the urchins. We understand the risk but feel that it should be open for individual decision making. Nothing”
