“Whilst I agree with other reviews this is not a 4 star establishment, I did enjoy my stay here. Hotel Cvita does not market itself as being on the doorstep of the Old Town, and it’s quite clear when you look on the map. We were content with that when we booked the hotel, and it was approximately 20-30 minute walk into Town which we enjoyed. Though to be mindful, those travelling with luggage or small children that the walk to the hotel is mostly up hill so in the heat can get quite intense! The staff were polite and helpful. Our room was large but the furniture was really dated! Looked like it had come from my grandmas house a few decades ago. If you need a soft mattress, be aware ours was not. The bathroom on the other hand was incredibly modern, and we had a large bath which was brilliant. The room also had aircon which is a must!! I ordered room service for no extra charge than the meal itself and it was tasty. The breakfast included pastries, bread, yoghurt, sausage/bacon mix, eggplant (maybe!), eggs, fruit and an assortment of meats and cheeses. Definitely something for everyone to give them something to start the day. The inside and outdoor pools are both lovely. There is a small bar section outside and during our time the staff manning it were very quick. They do not go around the pool offering but if you go to them they’ll bring it over to your lounger. They can also arrange pick up and drop off to the airport for €65, higher than Bolt in the area but less likely to cancel! Overall, if you don’t mind some questionable decor and abit of a walk, it’s a good hotel.”
