“Clean well equipped, air conditioned studio, comfy bed and good shower. Large balcony with outdoor kitchen & lovely sea view, looking over to Old Split island. Good sized, heated, spotlessly clean pool. Very friendly, welcoming, helpful but not intrusive hosts. Ana collected us from the airport and because we arrived quite late in the evening, she had prepared some lovely food for us and put it in our fridge to enjoy on the balcony. It was delicious and very much appreciated. Perfect location, few steps from lovely beach great for swimming and snorkeling. Very quiet spot, but only a few mins stroll to a handful of lovely bars and restaurants around the little harbour. Small well stocked mini market also by the harbour, with fresh bread and pastries available, plus; cheese, meats, veg, salad, fruit and general grocery. Lovely location for walking on very quiet roads and tracks through pine forests and olive groves. We walked, up and over to a little church built on the cliffs on the opposite side of the island, then down to the light house at the end of the island, then all the way back along the coast, with a stop at a beautiful quiet beach for a swim and picnic on the way back. There's also a lovely cafe bar up in the village, just past the church, well worth a visit for a mid morning coffee or early evening drink with the locals. We only stayed a few nights at the start of our trip around Croatia, but we will definitely go back.”
