“The Owner could not have been more pleasant and helpfull. As well as providing lots of useful information on the area and on hiking routes, he insisted on collecting our bags at the lower parking area and driving them up the steep hill to the hotel. Breakfasts were superb with plenty of choice and a range of local produce. When leaving, we were each presented with some gifts to bring home. The hill up to the hotel was a bit of a climb especially after returning from some lengthy hillwalks. Somehow it didn't seem so bad after dinner and drinks in the village! There was another private parking area just above the hotel but it was a long drive around to get to it.”
