“We absolutely loved the location and setting of the property which was nestled within the Cretan hills in a very exclusive location with incredible views of the bay. The gardens are an absolute dream and the property interiors are of the upmost luxury. We loved the privacy of our room and lovely garden in which we sat for ours. The common pool area is beautiful and the water warm. The staff was absolutely delightful and very accommodating to our very needs, especially our buggy driver and Artemis, one of the ladies serving breakfast. They even packed a breakfast to go for us on our last day because we had to leave early. Finally the hotel arranged an amazing private boat tour of the bay taking us to the most beautiful blue waters cove we have ever swam in and then to the Balos beach at sunset when all the crowds were gone, followed by an amazing dinner on the boat with local products. The location of the hotel is close to several non crowded beaches and great local restaurants, making our stay feel very authentic and not feel as if we were in a tourist destination.”
