“The accommodation itself was stunning, with beautiful design and impressive rooms that initially gave us high hopes for the stay. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. The food was consistently awful, lacking both quality and variety, and it quickly became one of the biggest disappointments of the trip. Service was another major issue. One blonde waitress in particular was extremely rude, almost offended when we asked for basic service, which left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Beyond that, nothing ever seemed to be open — restaurants, bars, facilities — it felt like we were constantly being told ‘no’ or treated as if we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. The hotel’s location didn’t help either. It is in the middle of nowhere, which makes it difficult to enjoy the area or find alternatives. While the transport to the beach was functional, it was hardly enough to offset the isolation. The waiters and bar staff were largely nice and tried to be helpful, but overall there was no warmth or genuine hospitality from the wider team. In the end, despite the stunning accommodation, the lack of good food, poor service, and the feeling of being unwelcome meant this was not an enjoyable experience. Sadly, we won’t back.”
