“The village is beautiful, and the hotel itself has a lovely aesthetic with a great atmosphere. The staff were excellent—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The room was also very clean throughout our stay. The room was very small, with very little space to unpack or store our belongings. Although there were wardrobes, there was no table or desk. Although there were wardrobes, there was no table or desk. Replacing one of the wardrobes with a small table would have made the room much more practical. We also found the mattress far too soft, which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking a shared outdoor area. Unfortunately, there were no curtains or insect screens on the windows. This meant we had very little privacy, and when we left the window open for ventilation, a centipede came into the room and bit me. The only way to maintain privacy was to close the solid shutters completely, but this also blocked all fresh air, leaving us with no option other than to keep the room closed and use the air conditioning. As a result, and because there was no natural ventilation, the room became very humid, especially after using the bathroom. Overall, the room could be much more comfortable with better ventilation, insect screens, curtains, and a more practical layout.”
