“This is a very nice hotel in a fantastic location. You literally walk out the door and immediately to your right, you see the Acropolis and to your left, Hadrian’s arch. The Plaka district is very charming and you have so many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. We stayed in a regular suite, but it was very large with a beautiful modern bathroom, although it was a little on the small side. The breakfast was decent but it would have been nice to have additional options and they didn’t always replenish things, especially the plain croissants which they tended to run out of every day around 10 which was still 30 minutes before the breakfast ended. These things are small things and did not take away from the fact that it’s a beautiful hotel with excellent service. I emailed the hotel many times months before our arrival date requesting information about restaurants, tours, etc. and Magda at the front desk was very helpful and always responded promptly and set up restaurant reservations, arranged a private guide for us for the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum as well as a driver to take us on a day trip. She was always so very sweet and friendly and was a pleasure to talk to. If we ever come back to Athens, we will definitely stay here again!”
