“The Hotel is lovely with tasteful furnishings and fittings. Staff very helpful (to a point). Cleanliness OK, food lovely and Greek evening was great fun. We asked our travel agent to request a quiet upper room. On arrival it was confirmed that the hotel had been able to give us a quiet upper room. However our room was very samll and lacked storage facilites and necessities. We had 5 coat hangers in a very small wardbord/cupboard and four shelves, there was a shelf on the wall and a shelf under the vanity unit. This was all the storage for all our belongings for a week. We lived out of our suitcases. The balcony was 32 inches wide and wasnt cleaned when we were there. The wash hand basin was in the bedroom. When we asked about a bigger room we were told it was like that at the Absolute! We had dogs which were in a fenced area over from the hotel, which barked day and night (not exactly quiet). On departing we were told when we come back next time we should email reception to ask for a quiet room and they would ensure we got one!!! I asked for the GM's contact details as I wished to advise him of our disappointment. However my email to reception was ignored. Really disappointing as the hotel was lovely”
