“Absolutely perfect stay. Desk attendant Cam welcomed us with a bottle of cool water on a warm day after slogging our suitcases from the train station, and went above and beyond to get us checked in early, which was much appreciated after our long journey from Boston. We stayed in the squeaky clean Rowntree Suite and enjoyed the comfortable linens, luxurious shower, and delightful terrace. Decor around the property was quirky and charming, as was the garden. We appreciated being on a quiet residential street away from the noise, but a pleasant leafy walk from all of the main York attractions. Exceptional value for summer. We only wish we could've stayed longer! Creaky floorboards in Rowntree Suite could use some TLC, but this is nit-picking.”
