“The hotel is full of character and has a lovely old-world charm. Its seafront location is excellent, and the building itself is beautiful. The staff we encountered were friendly and worked incredibly hard. Breakfast felt like there was a two-tier service. Guests on the all-inclusive package were seated in the main restaurant with plenty of staff, while other guests were seated in the foyer, where one member of staff was trying to look after around ten tables. It didn’t feel like the same experience. I was also surprised that there was no complimentary bottled water in the room for making tea or coffee, with bottled water costing £2. A little more consistency in service for all guests would make a big difference.”
