“We loved everything about the hotel. Beautiful location,wonderful views.The garden area was gorgeous, lovely comfortable tables & chairs,the outside bar was wonderful in this hot weather. We stayed in the Country House right next door to the main hotel,rooms were of a high standard, very clean, bed was so comfortable, with a lovely view over the valley. Had a fan which was very welcome in the hot weather.The hotel itself had beautiful quirky old rooms,to drink in, just sit & relax or meet up with friends if the weather wasn’t so good. All Staff were very kind & efficient,nothing was too much trouble. It was my husbands Birthday, when we arrived to our room, a lovely card was waiting & a card for a complimentary drink to choose from the bar, such a lovely touch, thank you for that, meant a lot. The Library Restaurant was really lovely, big windows overlooking the common, lovely food in the evening, & a beautiful buffet breakfast,great choices,with a full cooked breakfast served to the table.So relaxing, great staff, will definitely revisit, & recommend to our friends. Nothing,could not fault.”
