“We had the most wonderful stay at The Townhouse, 16 Church Street, and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The building itself is full of character and charm, which immediately adds to the experience. The bar and restaurant area is absolutely gorgeous, such a warm and inviting space to relax in. The food was without a doubt the highlight of our stay. Chef Rob’s knowledge and passion really shine through in every dish. We ended up trying most of the tapas plates on the menu and each one was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. The cocktails were amazing too, expertly made and the perfect addition to the evening. Rob and Jen are fantastic hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hospitality and service were excellent throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and beautifully presented, and we were lucky enough to have a huge bath which made the stay feel even more luxurious. The location is perfect, right on the same street as Shakespeare’s Birthplace, surrounded by so much history and character. We left already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, beautiful surroundings and exceptional hospitality. Thanks again!❤️”
