“The location was great for access to Cliffs Pavilion Theatre. The building from the outside is lovely and a traditional seaside look. Size of room and bathroom were spacious. The lift access was tiny. The room was very run down. The lock on the door to the room was loose. The coving around the ceiling was cracked. The bedding had a musty smell, like an iron was used to smooth out sheets but with old water. There were questionable stains on the carpet. The windows were dirty outside which made the view blurry and disappointing. The window frame had what looked like cigarette burns. General chips and stains on furnitures. There was no air con but a useless fan was provided. Not enough electric points near bed for charging phone overnight. No lamp, had to have a massive light on whilst winding down to sleep. Scone on wall still there but doesn’t work. £8.50 for overnight parking - not a whole days worth of parking. So much potential and needs a huge update.”
