“Attending the Harry Styles concert, we stayed at this hotel and were genuinely impressed. The location is perfect — a lovely area just a one‑minute walk from the train station. Our room was clean, modern and comfortable, with one of the comfiest beds we’ve slept in.We ate and had drinks at the hotel and everything was great. The outdoor seating area is a lovely touch and made the stay feel even more relaxed. The absolute standout, though, was Dan on reception. He is genuinely one of the best hospitality professionals I’ve ever met. Polite, friendly and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. He carried our bags upstairs, offered to leave drinks ready for when we returned from the concert, recommended a walk before we checked out, and even took the time to email me afterwards with the make of the bed‑settee because I’d commented on how comfortable it was. Dan is a real asset to the hotel — every hotel needs a Dan. His kindness and professionalism made our stay memorable, and we’ll definitely return. Absolutely nothing, we even got great weather :-)”
