“The hotel rooms were really clean and warm. We had to wait for the barman to finish his cigarette before we were able to order a drink at the bar, the waitress at breakfast was tidying away the breakfast buffet items around us as we were eating so it made us feel a little rushed and the breakfast table was sticky with crumbs from a previous sitting. The receptionist tried to charge for a drink on checking out which was not ours and didn't even apologise. The room was prepaid for over the web on a work credit card. The receipts we collected upon check out, had card details on that were not relevant to the company credit card and both card numbers on the two room receipts were different. I could not fault the cleanliness at all and it certainly had character but in my opinion and having worked in hospitality for many years myself, the staff need to training.”
