“In my roadtrip this week and en route to Hunstanton i stayed at this hotel on Weds evening. I have a affinity with Norwich as my Great Uncle was MP for East Norfolk in 1950,s and had a beautiful house in Unthank Road and i can remember wonderful family parties in 1970s with our family Conveniently located on the ring road and adjoining a David Lloyd Sports Club and almost immediately located next to a Morrisons the local facilities are very convenient The reception is slightly above the average HIE but the welcoming from the reception staff was exceptional. My Platinum Elite membership was immediately recognized and I was thanked for being such a loyal IHG supporter Tired I went straight to my room in 2nd floor and almost immediately feel asleep My room was a standard HIE offering with a combined wash room and toilet door The only thing stopping me awarding a converted 5* is that my Television wasn’t programmed and I spent 10 minutes trying to get it working before giving up The breakfast was the average HIE Buffet but with soft bread rolls. I would have liked Mushrooms but made a bacon and tomato Bap with made a nice change Whilst assembling my breakfast I was complimented on my waistcoat which was very nice The Carpark is adequate but seems to be shared with the Gym and was quite busy in my arrival but perfectly ok on my departure Bravo - Well above the Standard HIE offering and I would happily return”
