“The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent location. It is within walking distance of the British Museum, Covent Garden, Oxford Street, and several Underground stations, making it very easy to explore London. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel is in a quiet area despite being very central. If you visit during cooler months, the hotel may offer much better value. We stayed for five nights in July, and unfortunately the hotel was extremely uncomfortable due to the heat. The rooms have wall-to-wall carpets, no air conditioning, and become unbearably hot during the summer. The hotel provides only a small desk fan, which is nowhere near enough to cool the room. Sleeping comfortably was very difficult. There is also no minibar or refrigerator in the room, so there is no way to keep water or drinks cold, which makes the heat even more uncomfortable. For a hotel of this standard, the lack of air conditioning and a minibar is very disappointing. I would definitely not recommend staying here during the summer months. The included breakfast is also only a continental breakfast. If you want a full English breakfast, you have to pay extra.”
