“The Georgian House Hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from Victoria Station, making it an excellent base for exploring London. The building itself is beautiful, full of character and charm, with lovely décor throughout. The staff were friendly and welcoming, check-in was quick and straightforward, and it was very helpful that we were able to leave our luggage after check-out and continue enjoying the city. Our room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt warm and inviting. Despite the unusually hot weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location, character of the hotel, comfortable room and excellent staff were all major positives. I imagine the Georgian House Hotel would be particularly cosy and enjoyable during the cooler months, and I would happily stay again outside of a summer heatwave. Our room was on the top floor and, unfortunately, it became extremely hot during our stay. I was aware when booking that the hotel did not have air conditioning, so this is not a criticism of the hotel itself, but temperatures were over 33°C during the day and the room remained very warm throughout the night. Even after a long day at Wimbledon, there was little relief from the heat. The hotel provided two fans, which was appreciated, but they struggled to make much difference in the conditions. The window only opened slightly, which limited airflow and meant there was very little breeze.”
