“Where do I even begin? Our stay at Lincoln Holiday Retreat was absolutely wonderful, and a huge part of that was thanks to Debbie and Liam. Even before we arrived, Debbie's hospitality was exceptional. I hadn't updated our arrival time on Booking.com, but Debbie still took the initiative to contact us with detailed directions, including photos, which guided us straight to the retreat without any hassle. She also sent clear parking instructions beforehand, and our lodge was exactly where she said it would be, making our arrival completely stress-free. I asked Debbie if there were any halal places to eat nearby, and she kindly took the time to send us details of several halal restaurants and takeaways in the area. It was such a thoughtful gesture and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests. When we arrived, Debbie personally welcomed us, gave us a tour of the retreat, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warmth, generosity, and attention to detail really stood out. We also had the pleasure of meeting Debbie's son, Liam, who was equally welcoming and friendly. As it was our first visit to Lincolnshire, Debbie and Liam both recommended some fantastic places to visit. Thanks to their suggestions, we saw some incredible birds and even had the unexpected pleasure of seeing a beautiful baby deer. We unfortunately missed the llamas, but that's just another reason for us to come back! A huge thank you to Debbie and Liam for making us feel so welcome from the moment we booked until the day we left. Their kindness, support, and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We left feeling relaxed and happy. Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. Everything was well organised, the accommodation was comfortable, and Debbie and Liam went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our only disappointment was missing the chance to see the llamas—but we'll definitely be back to try again!”
