“This period property is very well maintained, with bright and airy rooms. Ivy greeted us and provided all the information we could require. Booking.com doesn't provide the correct information for the twin rooms, as only one is on the ground floor. Ivy quickly changed us to the ground floor room which was lovely and cool in the heatwave. The room and ensuite were very clean and had all that we expected, plus a charging dock for mobiles etc. We really liked having shutters providing good light, privacy and dark enough at nighttime. Ample hangers and drawers. Hospitality tray with water, tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was of a very good quality and the hot food was cooked fresh. Self serve cereal, fresh fruit salad and toast. We would definitely recommend this B&B and hope to return. Unable to think of anything.”
