“Staff especially Will was very welcoming and friendly. The bunkhouse was well equipped for an overnight stay. Our room was triple bunk bed for family of 3 with a fan, bench and mirror. It was in the main chapel along the corridor there are 5 others rooms with twin, family, single room setup and 3 toilets cubicle at the end of corridor for guests to share and use. Outside the main house there is a shower block. On its ground there are glamping pods, our friends and her family stayed in the apartment down a few steps from the main house and it consisted of 2 double bedrooms with a shared en-suite shower/toilet. It’s like a self contained apartment with kettle, fridge for them to use. We had our evening meal on the night we arrive and the food was amazing… beetroot smoked salmon and mouse starter, smoked pulled pork burger, Korean chicken with rice and venison stew. Superb food and a good selection of drinks. Our bedroom is underneath the bistro/lounge area as is floorboard we can hear when people are using upstairs. But it was quiet through the night once the bistro closed at 10pm.”
