“After checking in to the hotel on Monday 13th July, there were two staff that stood out for us. That was the receptionist who was on duty until 11pm who not only checked us in but also served us with drinks from the bar. When we arrived we did enquire about having something to eat as owing to traffic queues and congestion we were too late to have an evening meal the restaurant had closed. Then owing to us having a long journey etc Gabby (Gabrielle) went out of her way to make a ploughman’s platter. We think these two staff deserve praise from their employers for making our stay comfortable The thing that stood out for us was that the shower did not work. It was an over the bath shower attached to the taps, we tried everything possible to turn it on but nothing happened therefore landed up just having a wash.”
