“It’s difficult to put into words the experience of staying at Mill End. We have visited several times a year for the last four or five years and we just don’t tire of it. As soon as I walk through the door I can relax. I know it’s going to be good. The rooms are immaculate and always well presented. We visit as family and so have experienced many different bedrooms over the years and none have disappointed. The food is excellent. A breakfast that will see you through the day and an evening meal we all look forward to with anticipation . Stand outs this time were a fabulous cod dish with truffled potato gnocchi, roast loin of venison and chicken with mushroom orzo pasta. The wine list is also interesting and great value. Walks into Chagford or to Fingle Bridge are on your doorstep and great fun. But as many others have commented, it is the staff at Mill End that set the place apart. Professional, friendly but above all genuine. They have a pride in what they do and work hard to make each visit a special one. Thoroughly recommended.”
