“Restaurant dinner was very good. The outdoor spa pool area was fantastic and enjoyable in the summer. Staff were nice. The setting around the hotel was beautiful. The breakfast was a bit average for the price. My wife said the inside swimming pool was very small and could only fit 3 people swimming at once. She also told me the changing rooms were unisex and although they had cubicles, that did feel a bit strange to her. The indoor swimming area and changing rooms needed a bit of TLC. I heard that some rooms had air con and were renovated/modernised, but the room I had was outdated and too hot in the summer without air con. Staff were friendly and did give extra free water bottles due to the heat however, at one point in going to reception to ring the bell for attention but after 15 mins, I gave up seeking attention which was rather disappointing.”
