“We stayed at this property as a family from 28th June to 3rd July and it was such a wonderful stay . I had come to Edinburgh previously and had stayed in property in the Old Town but this time I decided it would have been easier to stay in The New town area s there are so many good restaurants around here . The hotel itself is not new but the room is large and my room comes with a bathtub . Housekeeping was great and you get complimentary soft drinks in the mini bar as well as two large bottles of water daily . My room did not have a view ( it was overlooking an old building and a construction site- which was very quiet actually ) which was ok as it was super quiet and I had really good sleep . The bed in the room is huge and the room also has a small table as well as a writing desk with Nespresso machine and a kettle . Breakfast was good although they could have had more variety in the fruit selection ( some berries would have been nice so I brought my own from Marks & Spencer ) . Services at breakfast / reception and concierge were super efficient . The gym is alright . Small but why would you want to spend more than an hour in there when you are in such a wonderful walking / hiking city that is Edinburgh . Would come back to this hotel in the future for sure .”
