“Location The room we was allocated was in a bad state of repair, the shower room ceiling and shower was very heavy in mould and had a strong smell of sewage, the toilet soil pipe was sealed with paper tissue, and the cistern was very loose. We had to keep all the windows open because of the sewage stench. The fire alarm showed a fault and had the sounders silenced, so had there been a fire how we know as the alarm didn’t seem to be working. I went back to see the gentleman that checked us in almost immediately after getting the key to the room and before I could say anything he said he was nothing to do with the rooms as he was completely separate, yet a few minutes before he had checked us in and gave us the keys,”
