“Location was perfect for our plans and having direct access to the loch and the scenery was beautiful. The area was so peaceful with no traffic noise nearby. The kitchen has everything you need to make it easy for your stay, you only have to bring your own food. And having a dishwasher was a bonus for us on holiday! Anne provided extensive information with nearby walking trails and activities which we will definitely do when we hopefully return in the summer. You have to park outside of the entrance gate as there is an ongoing fued with the house on the grounds, however you can briefly park next to the woodcutting shed to unload your belongings for your stay. Unfortunately we didn’t have any heating or hot water until late on the last night of our stay, I believe we were the first visitors this season so it literally took over 48 hours for the lodge to heat up. Anne was amazing though and arranged for one of the locals to come and see to the boiler as soon as she could and also provided lodge 2 for us to have a warm shower. If we had the heating and hot water I would have happily gave this accommodation 10/10. All in all, was a great stay and we will definitely return. Thank you Anne x”
