“The room had a heater that warmed up the room fairly quickly. Hairdryer and Tea&coffee was a nice touch. Mold in the bathroom. Shower was not working (it was either freezing cold or boiling hot water) the pub was closed due to flooding which was out of the control of the owners but we ended up spending 40mins trying to find an alternative place to eat. The Chiverton arms staff could have contacted and told us beforehand so we could have planned and made alternative arrangements for food as most of the other pubs in the area were fully booked. Considering that we paid nearly £90 to stay here for one night it was not a good value for money and we felt ripped off.”
