“What a fantastic Hotel , with great decor , ideally positioned in the heart of Colchester , great staff and delicious breakfast .. only criticism was that I had a sleepless night , Due to an issue with the toilet in our room that meant the water was constantly noisily running into the toilet and couldn’t be used , I mentioned this to a staff member who said it was usually an easy fix by pressing the flusher a few times ( which would indicate it’s an ongoing issue with the toilets ) and when she tried this and it didn’t work I was told that maintenance would have to look at it on Monday .. not much use to me when I only stayed on the Saturday night ! So having a sleepless night took the shine off an otherwise great Hotel ”
