“Staff friendly and effective in their roles. Refurbishment in progress, this causes some issues but not of a serious nature ( to us at least). The bar, lounge, dining room are well presented; the food is good and service very good. Parking is plentiful. Location is convenient to the M5 motorway but a few miles from centres at Cheltenham and Gloucester. The management are working hard to bring the hotel up to date with a refurbishment program; not sure when it will be complete. We intend to return. Old rooms look tired; new refurbished rooms are good. Some work noise in mornings while workmen are refurbishing some rooms. However, we were aware of them attempting to keep the noise down in the early working hours.”
