“We had a lovely stay at this quiet, secluded farmhouse. It’s full of rustic charm and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. The amenities were good, and it made an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. One thing worth updating in the listing is that there is Wi-Fi available, which was a nice bonus as we didn’t have any mobile signal up at the house. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again. Just a few small observations that might be helpful. Although the driveway is mentioned in the listing, it’s worth noting that it’s a fairly long, narrow, uneven track and took us around 10 minutes to reach the farmhouse from the road. The enclosed front garden was a little overgrown during our stay, which made the sheep droppings less visible. Inside, there were a few cosmetic signs of age, such as some decorative wear and a couple of signs of damp patches, but these didn’t affect our stay at all and are in keeping with the character of an older farmhouse. The only other minor suggestions would be to refresh the wooden cooking spoons and replace or clean the oven instruction sheet. Overall, these are only very small points. We had a lovely, peaceful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.”
