“Clean, nicely furnished, plenty of space for our family group of 5 adults. Great to come back & light the fire of an evening as was raining most evenings & starting to feel a little chilly. Love the fabulous walks from right outside the door. Nice & quiet area but just 5 mins drive from lovely Keswick town with its numerous options for shopping & eating. This is the 3rd house we have stayed in out of the 5 at Millbeck. This time we had more family members with us so the extra space this cottage has was ideal for us. Just that the shower in the en-suite top floor bathroom most of the time would not heat up, twice it had warm water for 20 seconds then ran cold. There was a warning that temperature would fluctuate if water being used elsewhere in the house, but every time we tried it there was no other water running. It wasn’t a big problem as just used the main bathroom shower instead.”
