“The heating didn't work and it was freezing. I have sent the following to booking.com 7 times and no response "I wrote to you shortly after our stay at the Black Bull in Appleby. It seems a shame to have to repeat myself but in brief it was the coldest night of the year so far and the heating didn't work. They sent a plumber who said the heating needed a full overhaul.. They then provided two oil filled radiators to heat 13 large rooms and all over the weekend of my mothers' 100th birthday celebrations.
