“A spacious and comfortable apartment in a great location. The view from the balcony was stunning and the grounds are well maintained. The apartment was in dire need of an update. The balcony area needed redecorating and retiling. The furnishings and kitchen fittings were old. One of the oven rack supports was broken as was the microwave turntable. We struggled to get hot water in the kitchen sink and the bathroom basins, although the shower worked satisfactorily. The bath panel was rotten. There were minimal toiletries and no tea, coffee etc or condiments. There are no lifts and the stairway and corridors are rather bleak. All this contrasted markedly with the well maintained appearance of the grounds.”
