“Overall a nice stay in what I would say is quite a rural area. The staff were really polite and helpful. The only things that I would say would improve a stay at this hotel is a couple of easy wins such a tea/ coffee facilities in the room and a welcome pack explaining check ins/outs, places to eat etc as we soon found out lots of places close in certain days or didn’t serve food for very long (I imagine this is a seasonal thing). This became quite a problem for us as we didn’t want to eat the hotel every meal. The food was good but very limited selection, very pricey and not for those who are after a hearty meal. The room was clean and the hotel had a very rustic and historic feel. The bathrooms needed a bit of updating in my opinion as they had no working extractor and didn’t smell nice either. That said the toiletries were lovely. A few small touches would not go amiss”
