“The hotel is well located, the staff were generally courteous, and the room was relatively comfortable. During my stay, I discovered what I believed to be a bed bug in my room. I first experienced significant itching and discomfort and later found an insect in the bedding which I photographed and reported to the hotel. Following this discovery, I inspected the room more closely and became concerned about the condition and cleanliness of certain bedding and sleeping areas. I immediately raised the matter with the hotel and subsequently submitted a formal complaint, supported by photographs. The hotel later informed me that an inspection had been carried out and that no bed bugs had been found. However, despite several exchanges with management, we were unable to reach a satisfactory resolution of the matter. Regardless of the outcome of the inspection, the incident caused considerable anxiety and affected the enjoyment of the remainder of my stay. I was particularly disappointed by the way the complaint was ultimately resolved, as I did not feel that my concerns were adequately addressed. The unresolved nature of the issue unfortunately overshadowed what would otherwise have been a positive stay.”
