“We stayed at the Renaissance Paris and overall had a good experience. The location is truly phenomenal — close to major sights, great restaurants, and easy transportation. It’s the kind of spot that makes exploring Paris effortless, and for that alone, the hotel has a lot of value. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the warm service throughout our stay. The hotel itself, however, is very old and a bit run down in areas. You can feel the history of the building (which is charming in some ways), but there are definitely spots that could use refreshing. From what we’ve heard, the property is currently under renovation, which is promising and hopefully means a much-improved guest experience in the near future. That said, the comfort, the service, and especially the unbeatable location made it a solid stay — and once the renovations are complete, this hotel has the potential to be truly exceptional. Overall: a very good base for exploring Paris, with upgrades on the horizon.”
