“My family and I traveled to Europe on a 10 day vacation. I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Hotel Paris Opéra Affiliated by Meliá. The room was not properly maintained. The bed advertised as a king bed was actually two twin mattresses pushed together without any mattress bridge or wedge to create a seamless sleeping surface. This resulted in an uncomfortable gap down the middle, making it feel like sleeping in two separate beds rather than a king-size bed. Cleanliness was also a major concern. The bed sheets were dirty upon arrival, and the bathroom was in poor condition, with visible rust, water damage, and an overall lack of upkeep. To make matters worse, there was a persistent drainage odor coming from the bathroom that made the room unpleasant. The air conditioning was ineffective and did not adequately cool the room, making it uncomfortable, especially since the temperature in Paris was in the 90's during our stay. The hallways were equally disappointing, with old, worn, and dirty carpeting that gave the hotel a dated and neglected appearance. For a hotel affiliated with the Meliá brand, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort. Unfortunately, this property fell well below expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again. Please do not let the hotel photos fool you !!!
