“Like all inner city hotels the rooms are small. The bathroom and shower were exceptionally good. We are almost 79 and we were enroute to Normandy. The hotel is literally 50 steps across the narrow street from gare St. Lazare. Step out the front door, just to the right, take the elevator down to the platform)The front desk staff were exceptional, they gave us a quick tutor on using the metro, (which is accessible in the train station). We eat little in the morning so just went next door to a lovely coffee shop. We stayed two nights, then took a two hour train to Caen, rented a car, drove over to Bayeux to our AirB&B for our tour of Normandy”
