“A tastefully renovated small boutique hotel in Hasparren in the French Basque country. We were immediately made to feel welcome being personally shown to our room. The rooms are delightful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a spacious bathroom with a large walk in shower The bed was super comfortable. A window opened out onto a first floor terrace with extended views. We didn't have time to enjoy the stunning garden and superb swimming pool. We ate in the restaurant in the evening enjoying a convivial atmosphere and really high quality well prepared meal. Having set such a high standard at the evening meal, the breakfast did not disappoint. It was first class, thoughtfully prepared with real quality produce. The owner is top quality restaurant trained and it shines through. We hope to return! We wished that we had planned to stay longer. Our stay was truly excellent”
