“The front drive team (valet/bellman) were great. The room had a nice balcony. Most of the staff was disorganized and unhelpful. The air conditioner there is terrible and there was a heat wave while we were there. I asked for a portable fan and the front desk's response was "that won't help". I said I would like one anyway if they had one available. They said okay they would bring one, and each day we reminded them and each day they promised it but never brought it until the last night of our stay after we started bugging them about it every 30 minutes until they brought it. And then when the housekeeper finally brought the fan, she said we could not keep the remote to the fan because they only had one remote. Not sure what they thought we were going to do - steal the remote? It was weird. They also woke me up at 6:30am in the morning banging on my door even though I had the Do Not Disturb sign on. My husband had ordered coffee in the lobby and specifically said he would drink it in the lobby because I was sleeping. My Do Not Disturb sign should have prompted the room service employee to go check on the order instead of repeatedly banging on the door until I got out of bed and answered it. Lastly, the toilet in the hotel room is located in a completely separate area from the bathroom. It has it's own room by the hotel room door, and it does not have a sink in it. So if you close the toilet room door while you use the toilet, you have to open the toilet room door and walk to the bathroom that has the sinks in it to wash your hands. I find that gross. I want to wash my hands (and others to wash their hands) before touching door handles.”
