“Nice room. Very close to the old town and the bars and restaurants. Annecy seems to be undergoing extensive roadworks and there are complicated road closures and one way systems to negotiate. Google Maps couldn't seem to figure a way to get us to the street where the hotel actually was and instead directed us to a busy corner of a road near the station which was at least 500m from the hotel. There was actually no way we could pull up and stop there as it was a busy road so we had to drive on and blindly hope to find somewhere to stop that was not too far away. The hotel was absolutely fine once we managed to walk there with our luggage but if you are booking here do some proper route research and don't rely on google maps.”
