“The hotel’s location is excellent, and we booked a bayside room on the 8th floor with a great view. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The air conditioning in our room was not working. When we reported it, the receptionist on duty spoke very little English and was unable to help. The following day, another receptionist confirmed that the hotel’s air conditioning was indeed not working, but no solution, alternative room, or compensation was offered. To make matters worse, on Saturday there was a terrace party directly above the 8th floor that started in the afternoon and continued until around 10 p.m. The noise and vibrations were unbearable throughout the day, making it impossible to relax or enjoy the room. If the hotel regularly hosts events like this, guests staying on the 8th floor should either be informed in advance or offered rooms away from the disturbance.”
