“The grounds are maybe the most stunning setting we have ever stayed in. Truly beautiful. The room was clean and spacious, quiet and immaculate housekeeping. We didn’t feel the hotel lived up to the star rating or the price point. The breakfast was very poor, the food was not up to the standard we had experienced in other hotels in the area and there was no fresh coffee available anywhere in the hotel. The pool area and bar is quite shabby and the drinks not great. The staff were friendly enough but service not what you would expect at a luxury resort. There were hidden charges everywhere and it is very isolated so would be lacking in dining choices for more than a few days. Overall, for our honeymoon stay we were left pretty disappointed and would not return.”
